NOVEMBER 20TH NYC SIGNATURE EVENT SPEAKER
What excited you about becoming a speaker at our next Signature Event? It is important to use your experience and voice to help educate and motivate others concerning the importance and positive financial impact of diversity on boards. By supporting the Signature Event for Women in the Boardroom, it is a visible and active reminder that business, and our world, are enhanced when everyone's talents and gifts are fully utilized.
What is your best piece of advice for those considering board involvement? Think through carefully what you will contribute as a board member, as well as how you will grow through involvement. Choose a board where there is an opportunity to do both, as well as one that is compatible with your experience, education, values, operating style, and general outlook on the world. Remain diligent, yet patient in your search. The best board seat is one that is tailored for your skill, talent and temperament.
